What to bring to
your fitting.
The whole appointment takes 15 minutes, but a little prep makes it faster and gets you a cleaner impression on the first pass.
- Brush your teeth before you come in — a clean bite gives a cleaner impression.
- Skip gum, mints, or coffee in the hour before your fitting.
- If you have braces, retainers, or recent dental work, tell us when you book.
- Bring your team colors, logo file, or reference photo if you're customizing.
- Wear something you don't mind getting a drop of impression water on.

How long does the fitting appointment take?
About 15 minutes start to finish. The impression itself sets in 90 seconds — the rest is picking your colors and confirming the design.
Do I need to see a dentist first?
No. We take the impression ourselves in our Clovis lab with the same materials a dentist uses. Just bring your bite.
Can you fit me if I wear braces?
Yes — but let us know when you book. We use a different impression approach and slightly modified guard geometry to accommodate brackets and wires.
What if the fit isn't right?
We rebuild it. Every guard is backed by our fit guarantee — if it rocks, gags, or feels wrong, come back and we make it right.
How long will one guard last?
A full training season for most fighters — roughly 9 to 12 months of hard use. Wrestlers and heavy grinders sometimes push closer to six.
Can you do rush orders for fight week?
Yes. Our 48-hour rush build is available when the calendar allows — call us and we'll tell you straight up if we can hit your date.
